Camarillo is a city located in Ventura County, California. It is a medium size city with a population of roughly 65,000. Camarillo is home to California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) which is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Saint John’s Seminary, a graduate school devoted to divinity training, ministry, and priestly formation, is also located in Camarillo.

California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) is a four-year public university located in Camarillo, California. The CSUCI campus is located in a thriving economic region that is home to major biotechnology and industrial firms, agricultural operations and non-profit organizations. The university has a total enrollment of 3,600+ students and offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. The university offers students the opportunity to major in 22 areas of study including art, biology, chicano studies, chemistry, business, communication, computer science, economics, english, early childhood studies, environmental science and resource management, history, enformation technology, applied physics, mathematics, nursing, performing arts, liberal studies, psychology, political science, sociology, and spanish. Additionally, CSUCI plans to add majors in kinesiology, geography and social justice by 2014 and nutrition and philosophy majors by Fall 2015.
