John Brown University (JBU) is a private Christian school that was founded in 1919 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The university’s campus sits on 200 acres. In addition to its main campus in Siloam Springs, JPB has regional education centers located in Fort Smith, Little Rock, and Rogers, Arkansas.
As of the 2011-2012 school year, JBU had 2,138 students, of which 1,279 of them were undergraduates. Out of its undergraduates, 878 lived on campus. Students at JBU come from 44 countries and 41 states.
JBU’s athletic departments compete in the Sooner Athletic Conference. JBU is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The US News & World Report ranked JBU first among the regional four-year schools in 2011 for the 2012 publication (in the Southern region).
