Bothell is a suburb of Seattle, Washington, located within the Seattle greater metropolitan complex. As of the last U.S. census, Bothell had a population of approximately 33,500. Bothell resides in King and Snohomish Counties and is sandwiched between the cities of Mill Creek, Kenmore, Woodinville, and Juanita.
Bothell is the home of the University of Washington-Bothell and Cascadia Community College. Up until 2006, Cascadia Community College and University of Washington-Bothell were both two-year colleges, however, University of Washington-Bothell is now an accredited four-year degree-granting university. Both colleges currently share the same campus and are closely tied to one another. Cascadia Community College was recently ranked second best community college in the nation, surpassed only by Atlanta Technical College.
