Bastyr University offers degrees in midwifery, psychology, exercise science, herbal sciences, nutrition, Oriental medicine and acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, and other programs.

Bastyr’s programs take a holistic approach to health and stress the healing power of nature. Bastyr focuses on bringing together centuries-old healing traditions with today’s research on human systems and health. Bastyr is the largest of seven accredited naturopathic medical schools in North America. Its research programs are highly distinguished.

Bastyr is also an operating teaching clinic-the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. It is located in Seattle’s Fremont/Wallingford neighborhood. Health conditions are treated at the clinic using nutrition, counseling, acupuncture and Oriental medicine, and naturopathic medicine.
