Bakersfield is a large city located in Kern County, California at the south end of the San Joaquin Valley. It is almost exactly half way between the cities of Fresno and Los Angeles. The city’s population is roughly 350,000, making it the 9th largest city in California. It is also one of the fastest growing cities in California.
