The Avalon School of Cosmetology is one of the Southwest’s premier beauty and cosmetology schools. It is located in Mesa, AZ. This school was the first of many schools that make up the Avalon beauty school system.
The Avalon School of Cosmetology is located in the picturesque surroundings of the Sonora Desert. Phoenix is an ideal location for hikers, cyclists, and rock-climbers. Students can also take advantage of the numerous culture and art centers located nearby, such as the Mesa Amphitheatre and the Broadway Palm Dinner. Phoenix is also home to four major professional franchises.

Regardless of student experience or knowledge, instructors devote individualized attention to each student, so they can develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the beauty and styling industry.
Students interested in attending the Avalon School of Cosmetology can apply online. Only students with demonstrated English fluency and high school or general equivalency degrees are eligible for admission. Students not meeting these requirements must first pass an Ability to Benefit exam to be considered for admission.
Federal Pell grants and loans are available for qualifying students. The school also offers flexible tuition payment plans for students uninterested in loans.
