School Overview
Arkansas Baptist College (ABC) was founded as the Minister’s Institute in 1884. ABC is a historically black, private liberal arts college that was originally funded by the Colored Baptists of the State of Arkansas. ABC is located in Little Rock, Arkansas and is the only Baptist HBCU that is west of the Mississippi River.
ABC’s baseball team plays at Gary Hogan Field for part of its schedule (located in Little Rock.) The baseball team is part of the National Junior College Athletic Association and competes in Region 2.
