Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) is a not-for-profit higher education institution located in downtown Los Angeles, California, situated in the Santa Fe Freight Depot. The school offers undergraduate and graduate-level degree programs in architecture. In addition, the institute provides a variety of outreach and community design programs, free public lectures, and regular exhibitions. SCI-Arc has an annual enrollment of about 500 students and a year-round faculty of 80, most of whom are architects. The school was founded in 1972.
