Angwin is a city located in Napa County, California. As of the last census, the population of the city was just over 3,000. The town was named after Edwin Angwin (the orginally land owner) in 1874. Angwin is the home to a large population of Seventh-day Adventists as well as the Pacific Union College, an Adventist liberal arts college.
While consumption of alcohol is the city is minimal, due to the city’s predominantly Adventist population, the city is becoming a popular destination spot among farmers who produce vineyards to support the winemaking industry.
