Located in Alma, Michigan, Alma College is a privately owned and operated, coeducational, four-year liberal arts college that is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The college’s 13th and current president is Dr. Jeff Abernathy.
Alma College offers Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Bachelor of Music, and Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in over 28 areas of study. Some of the college’s most popular programs are in biology, business administration and management, exercise and health science, psychology, and education. The college also offers a variety of study abroad programs and service learning opportunities designed to enhance students’ academic and learning experience.
In 2005, The Princeton Review and Campus Compact ranked Alma College among 81 “Colleges with a Conscience”. Not only does Alma College help its students develop critical thinking and leadership skills, but the institution is also dedicated to producing graduates that lead with purpose, serve generously, and are responsible stewards of the world.
