This program is designed to prepare students to maintain and repair specialized ranch, farm, and agribusiness power equipment and vehicles. This program typically includes in depth instruction in the principles of diesel, electrical, combustion, hydraulic, steam, and mechanical systems and their application to the maintenance of terrestrial and airborne crop-spraying equipment; planting and harvesting equipment; tractors and hauling equipment; power sources and systems for silos; cutting equipment; irrigation and pumping equipment; feeding, dairy, processing systems, and shearing operations.
