According to a report released by the National Center for Education Statistics during the 2011-’12 school year there were a total of 2,263,446 degrees award nation wide (662,079 Masters’s Degrees and 1,601,367 Bachelor’s Degrees.) Of the Master’s Degrees 60% were earned by women and 40% by men. The same respective percentages apply to Bachelor’s Degrees.
