Golden Gate University
Golden Gate University is a private four-year higher education institution located in San Francisco’s Market District, near the city’s financial sector. This university is popular with working professionals as it offers accounting, business management, taxation, law, and numerous other education programs with flexible class schedules. More than 15 graduate programs are offered at Golden Gate University with over 24 concentrations.
Golden Gate University is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and has been since 1959. Prior to 1950 the University was accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Golden Gate's law school is accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS). The University also offers an accredited financial planning program that is registered with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
