Forensic Psychology Colleges and Programs
This program is designed to prepare students to apply clinical, school, counseling, and neuropsychology skills to the provision of psychological services within the criminal justice and civil legal systems, including assessment, consultation, and interventions. This program typically includes in depth instruction in the epidemiology of mental/behavioral disorders, profiling and patterning, risk factors for violence and criminality, psychological testing, forensic assessment, criminal and civil law and procedures, prediction and intervention measurement, forensic treatment and intervention skills, secure environments, and professional standards and ethics.
